April 25th Cycle: 50 Years of Freedom

CIDEHUS marks the 50th anniversary of April 25th with a variety of initiatives. A diverse program of events will take place throughout the year, including:
- New episode of the CIDEHUS Podcast: “In Conversation with History: Plural Voices — Women in Perspective. April 25th in Rural Alentejo”
Listen on Spotify - Debate series moderated by researcher Maria Zozaya-Montes, within the project “Stories of April 25th”, organized by Bolsa D’Originais, from April 18 to May 16.
More information - Exhibition: “April 25th and the First Local Elections”, opening April 23 at 11 a.m., at Escola Severim de Faria, in Évora.
- Open Lecture: “The Carnations of 1974: Technology of the Estado Novo or Symbol of the Revolution?”, with Ignacio García Pereda (CIDEHUS collaborator), on April 24 at 4 p.m., UÉ-CES (Room 124).
- Exhibition: “Mário Soares: Campaigns in the South”, opening in early May, at Escola Secundária Gabriel Pereira, in Évora.
