CIDEHUS on the Intramuros Festival
On October 4, 5, and 6, the Intramuros Festival will take place, dedicated to the Heritage of Évora’s Historic Center. This festival aims to promote the vast existing heritage within the Évora city walls. It is an initiative by the União das Freguesias de Évora (Centro Histórico) in order to incentivize the valorization of heritage through the awareness and knowledge of it.
CIDEHUS’ Integrated Researchers Fernando Branco Correia and Bruno Lopes will be leading the guided tours “As influências islâmicas e de tradição islâmica no centro histórico de Évora” (October 5, 16h) and “Os vestígios da inquisição em Évora” (October 6, 11h), respectively.
The initiatives that integrate the festival are free of charge, but subject to registration.
